Legal literacy is the key to safety
At Zhubanov University, within the framework of the «Law and Order» ideology, preventive meetings with first-year students were organised over the course of several days.
Representatives of the Police Department of Aktobe Region took part in the events and conducted awareness-raising work with students on issues of legal literacy and personal safety.
The main goal of the meetings is to shape students' legal culture, create a safe environment and foster conscious compliance with the norms of legislation.
During the events, students were presented with important information on the prevention of cybercrime, drug-related crimes, countering organised crime, crime prevention and issues of personal safety.
Police officers emphasised the importance of complying with the requirements of legislation, improving legal literacy and taking a responsible attitude towards matters of law and order. Students were also able to ask their questions and receive competent answers from specialists.
