Internet safety: ways to protect against fraud

At Zhubanov University, within the framework of the "Law and Order" ideology, a TEDx-format meeting was held on the topic "Caution on the internet is the key to your financial security."

The main goal of the event is to foster a culture of safe behaviour among young people in the online space, prevent financial fraud and inform about precautions in the digital environment.

The meeting was attended by representatives of law enforcement and government agencies, who shared up-to-date information on internet safety, financial fraud prevention and countering offences in the digital space.

Young people were also reminded of the need to observe precautions on the internet: not to follow suspicious links or respond to dubious messages, not to share bank card details or other personal information with strangers, and to exercise caution when carrying out financial transactions online.
