Civic responsibility is the foundation of a just society

A round table on the topic "An honest word — to a just society: The New Constitution as the foundation of civic responsibility and social harmony" was held at Zhubanov University.

During the meeting, the values of a just society, legal culture, civic responsibility and issues of social harmony were widely discussed.

The event was attended by the head of the youth work department of the Department for Youth Policy of Aktobe Region, Sanzhar Zhailybai, the chief librarian of the university's scientific library, Elvira Abdullina, the head of the Department of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and Socio-Political Disciplines, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor Umbetkhan Sarsembin, as well as Associate Professor of the "Jurisprudence" Department, PhD Bagila Tleulesova.

The speakers delivered reports on pressing issues. The reports touched upon the role of reading books in the development of the individual and society, the core values of a just society, law and responsibility in the context of the new Constitution, as well as the importance of social harmony. The speakers noted the role of legal literacy and an active civic stance in shaping a culture of mutual responsibility in society.

During the meeting, participants asked the speakers questions and exchanged opinions on the topics discussed.
