Foreign scientist conducted a master class

PhD, Associate Professor of Lancaster University John G. Hardy conducted a master class for the faculty of the Faculty of Natural Sciences on the topic "Biocompatibility, Toxicology, and Host–Material Testing".

The main goal of the master class is to familiarise the faculty with modern scientific methods for assessing the biological compatibility and toxicological safety of biomaterials, to consider approaches to studying the mechanisms of interaction between the body and the material, as well as to improve the skills of scientific interpretation of experimental research results.

During the master class, the features of the impact of biomaterials on a living organism, the possibilities of their application for medical and biotechnological purposes, as well as the theoretical and methodological foundations for assessing biological safety were considered.

In addition, the faculty together with the foreign scientist discussed the main directions and prospects of research work.
