K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University welcomes international students from over ten countries, including Germany, China, Kenya, India, Russia, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Turkmenistan. The university offers diverse academic programs that are fully integrated with its core curricula, ensuring a high-quality education for all students.

International students have access to the Preparatory Department, which provides pre-university courses in Kazakh and Russian. Additionally, adaptation programs are available to support students transitioning into undergraduate, master's, and doctoral studies.

Throughout their academic journey, international students actively participate in research projects, contribute to departmental scientific initiatives, and engage in social, cultural, and athletic activities on campus. The university offers accommodation in its dormitories to support students during their studies.

Admission Guidelines for International Students

Entry and Registration Procedures

Upon arrival in the Republic of Kazakhstan, all international students (undergraduates, master’s, and doctoral students) must complete the following steps:

Register their arrival in Kazakhstan through the E-konak application within three working days.

Report to the Department of International Cooperation at the university.

Present a passport with an entry stamp from the border control authorities.

Important: The purpose of entry must always be indicated as "Study" in all official documents.

Required Documents for Migration Registration

To complete migration registration with the Aktobe Department of the Migration Service, students must submit the following documents:

Original medical insurance

Notarized copy of the passport with a certified translation

Certificate of fingerprinting (biometric data confirmation)

Kazakhstan Individual Identification Number (IIN)

Letter of consent from the property owner (if residing off-campus)

Foreign applicants who remain in Kazakhstan after completing entrance exams may extend their migration registration through the university, provided that their purpose of stay was initially indicated as "Study."

Additional Requirements for Students from Visa-Free Countries

International students from visa-free countries must provide the following additional documents to the International Cooperation Department (ICD):

Notarized copy of the passport with a certified translation

Copy of the temporary registration certificate

Copy of the medical insurance (original required for verification)

Certificate confirming fingerprinting and biometric data submission

Kazakhstan Individual Identification Number (IIN)

Two passport-size photos (3.5x4.5 cm)

Foreign resident questionnaire (completed upon arrival)

Student information form (provided by the university)
