The history of the department

Currently, the department employs: 1 Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences; 2 Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan; 1 Doctor of Philosophy (PhD); 9 masters, 6 associate professors, 4 teachers, 4 concertmasters, 2 laboratory assistants, 1 tuner.
The teaching staff of the department is successfully working on the training of teaching staff at a high level of professional skill in accordance with modern requirements.

On January 26, 2016, senior lecturer of the department A.I. Raimbergenov held a presentation "Features of the artistic life of the Aktobe region of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the 1920s-1960s". 17.00.04 defended his PhD thesis in the specialty "Fine and decorative arts and architecture" in the Dissertation Council of Altai State University D212.005.09 and received the title of Doctor of Philosophy. On November 1, 2023, by Order No. 778, Ermekbaev A.A. was awarded the academic title of associate professor (associate professor).

Active handouts of the department for independent work of students in all disciplines are fully provided. Every year, teachers of the department receive certificates of international standard. In addition, teachers of the department annually upgrade their qualifications at the university and receive certificates. Teachers take part in methodological seminars held by the university and the faculty, successfully defend reports and projects, and share experiences. Teachers of the department, engaged in research work, publish their scientific articles, abstracts, reports in collections of scientific papers and international, republican conferences. On the basis of the university, conditions have been created for participation in online seminars in a foreign language. Ph.D., Associate professor Mukeeva N.E. took advanced training courses in English in Almaty at SWISS American ACADEMY SA, Rosetta stone teachers Baishukurova A. Zh. and Aliyeva A. K., Mukhtarova S. K., Kaldybayeva A. S., S. A.Tauekel.

The teaching staff of the department, Ph.D., Associate Professor Mukeeva N.E. M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan State University; Associate Professor, PhD Raimbergenov A. I. exchanged experience with the National Academic Program at the Pavlodar State Pedagogical Institute. Also, students of the specialty 6B01401-music education under the international academic mobility program cooperate with China, the Ili Pedagogical Institute and the Republic of Turkey, Sakarya University. In the 2023-2024 academic year, as part of the academic mobility of students, OP 6b01401 – musical education, 6b11102 – cultural and leisure work, the soloist of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after M. F. Akhundov, Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Doctor of Philosophy of Art History Ilham Islam oglu Nazarov held a 10-day Master class.
