According to the results of the evaluation by the external expert commission of the independent agency “ARQA,” the educational program “7M01501 – Mathematics” was accredited for a period of 5 years. Registration number: HE-SA-000358, validity period: 25.12.2023 – 24.12.2028.

Training period: scientific and pedagogical direction – 2 years.

Degree awarded: master of education in education program «7M01501 – Mathematics».
Purpose of the Educational Program. Training highly qualified Masters of Pedagogical Sciences in the field of mathematics, who are in demand in the labor market, capable of conducting research and pedagogical activities in educational institutions, and knowledgeable in modern information technologies.

Learning Outcomes of the Educational Program:

  1. Generates deep knowledge in mathematics, understanding the role and place of artificial intelligence in mastering mathematical software material, pedagogical and psychological patterns of teaching mathematics in higher education, and the specifics of methodological systems in higher education teaching.
  2. Justifies the main principles of fundamental areas of mathematics and demonstrates acquired theoretical knowledge in designing the mathematics teaching process.
  3. Formulates arguments and solves professional and applied problems in the process of teaching mathematical and methodological disciplines.
  4. Summarizes results of research and analytical work in the form of a master’s thesis, scientific article, report, etc.; competent in carrying out scientific projects and research in the professional field.
  5. Evaluates situations in various areas of interpersonal, social, and professional communication, taking into account basic knowledge of pedagogy, psychology, teaching methodology, as well as inclusive and criterion-based teaching technologies.
  6. Develops conclusions within the content of the updated education system, aimed at successful socialization and integration into modern society.
  7. Demonstrates methods and techniques of various types of oral and written communication within the competence of a mathematics specialist, proficient in the state and foreign languages, in order to respond adequately in a dynamically developing multilingual and multicultural world.
  8. Is proficient in and able to professionally apply various types of information and communication technologies: artificial intelligence in solving mathematical problems, Internet resources, cloud and mobile services for searching, storing, processing, protecting, and disseminating information.
  9. Evaluates situations in various areas of interpersonal, social, and professional communication, taking into account basic knowledge of history, philosophy, and social-political disciplines.
