For the implementation of the directions in the article of the head of state “seven facets of the Great Steppe”, archaeological and ethnographic research is becoming increasingly important and important in our country. In this regard, the work of the center of Archeology and Ethnography, which was opened at the faculty, will be great. Work is being carried out on the search, research, and introduction into scientific circulation of archaeological sites of Kazakhstan, including the western region, from ancient times to the Golden Horde period. In particular, the center gives priority to the study of monuments of the Hunnic-Sarmatian period on the territory of Aktobe and West Kazakhstan regions. As the head of state noted in the article “looking to the future: modernization of public consciousness”, traditions and Customs play a huge role in preserving the national code and continuing it from generation to generation. The work for this purpose will undoubtedly become the main area of work of the Center for ethnographic research.

There are many ways to instill patriotism in the youth of our independent country. One of them is education through the use of local history works. We believe that the Local History Center, which was opened for this purpose, will respond to these requests.

The center is engaged in the study and promotion of the history of our region from ancient times to the present day, architectural monuments, literature, geography, toponomics, flora and fauna, as well as famous personalities of the region. Students, undergraduates and doctoral students will also be involved in the work of the center along with university teachers. During the II St. Petersburg Historical Forum, an excursion to the museum of the scientist-encyclopedist D. I. Mendeleev was organized. The D. I. Mendeleev Museum-Archive is part of the St. Petersburg State University and is located in the University's government apartment in the building of Twelve Colleges (Rector's Wing), where the scientist lived with his family from 1866 to 1890. There was a scientist's laboratory right next to it, literally through the wall.

The museum is dedicated to the life and scientific work of a scientist. The law of the Periodic Table was discovered here, the Fundamentals of Chemistry were written, and work was done on gas physics, economics, industry, and others. In the 19th century, university professors lived on the 1st floor, classrooms were located on the 2nd floor, and students' rooms were located on the 3rd floor.

The museum is very interesting. A versatile personality is revealed before us. I've attached a lot of photos to show how multifaceted this personality is.

In the photo you can see the first version of the Periodic table, which dates back to February 1869. There are three known manuscripts with the main versions of the table, dated February 17, 1869. And today, scientists have dispelled the well-known myth that a scientist dreamed of a famous table in a dream.

In 2021, Victoria Vyacheslavovna Mohiboroda, a student of the Faculty of History with a degree in 6B02201 – History, participated in the academic mobility program in the 1st semester of the 3rd year of study. Studied at Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University in the Russian Federation, Kazan.

Zhubanov, Samat Kumyspaev (8D02201 – educational program "History", 1st year doctoral degree), Myrzakhan Zhandos (7M07106 – educational program "Electric Power Industry", 1st year Master's degree), Tanetova Lazzat (7M04102 – educational program "Management", 1st year Master's degree), Moldir Zhumagalieva (7M01601 – History Educational Program, 1st year Master's degree) participated in the First International Astana Forum held in Astana. The main mission of the forum was to openly discuss the situation in the world; identify the main challenges and crises facing us; counteract these challenges through dialogue in the spirit of mutual cooperation; renew and restore the common culture of multilateral relations. Young scientists of the Faculty of History, 1st–year doctoral student Samat Kumispaev (8D02201 – History educational program) and 1st-year master's student Zhumagalieva Moldir (7M01601 - History Educational Program) participated in the panel sessions "Foreign Policy and International Security" and "International Development and Stability". The event aims to unite the efforts of the international community to find answers to the unprecedented challenges caused by rising geopolitical tensions and a radical change in traditional models of interstate cooperation.

Amina Dzhekbayeva, a 4th–year student at the Faculty of History of Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov, together with leading scientists from the A.H. Margulan Institute of Archaeology and the restorer of the Institute of the History of Material Culture of the Russian Academy of Sciences, participates in one of the projects of the Aktobe Regional Museum of Local Lore and the A.H. Margulan Institute of Archaeology on the study of historical and cultural heritage sites according to the roadmap "Research, preservation, revival and popularization of the cultural heritage of Aktobe region for 2023-2025."

This project is focused on the development of museum business, which has received increasing attention in recent years and contributes to the popularization of the achievements of the ancient population living in Kazakhstan in the historical past. The archaeological finds, discovered back in 2018 north of Aktobe at the northern bypass, represent an invaluable treasure trove and legacy that has come down to our days from the great Huns.

The implementation of this project will allow for the first time in Kazakhstan to show a warrior's costume and riding objects made of gold and decorated with precious stones. In addition, the reconstruction will provide an opportunity to prove that the steppes east of the Caspian Sea for two centuries were the habitat of the Huns, the great conquerors of Europe.

The solution of the set goals and objectives, namely the re-creation of scientific, artistic and natural reconstruction of the Hun costume, his military ammunition and riding horse items, will first of all show the achievements of the nomadic civilization in the era of the Huns to the Kazakh and world public. The recreated reconstruction of a nomadic warrior, who most likely played the role of a leader among the Hunnic tribes, will occupy a worthy place in the exposition of museums of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In addition, the project involves the restoration of damaged archaeological finds, which will also have a positive impact on their further storage. The results obtained can be used in writing various scientific and popular science publications, textbooks and special courses for secondary schools and universities.
