Educational and scientific activities of the department
In 2022, under the guidance of Ph.D., Professor S.S.Isakova, she defended her doctoral dissertation on the educational program 6D020500-"Philology" by N.K.Kultanbayev, in 2023 under the guidance of Ph.D., Professor K.K.Sadirova – Sh.G.Abdirov; under the guidance of Ph.D., Professors Shokym G.T. – Borankulova E. T., Zhumasheva K. and 2023-24 G.G. Sultangalieva O.K., Utegenova A., Tukhtarova A.S. defended their doctoral dissertation on the educational program "8D02304 – Philology".
The department traditionally holds regional and republican methodological seminars in order to expand the use of innovative technologies in teaching literature and organizing exchange of experience. A regional seminar “Actual problems of teaching literature” ( 2012), the republican seminars “Ancient Turkic writing is a sign of a high civilization” (2013), “Problems of Teaching Philological Disciplines: Innovative and Prospective Directions of Development” (2014), ” Actual problems of teaching literature” (2015), “Kazakh Literature and Teaching Methods” (2015), “Тopical issues of studying historical prose in Kazakh literature” (2016), and collections of materials of all seminars have been published. Teachers of high schools and colleges, teachers of schools and employees of educational institutions participated in these seminars, this is the main part of the career guidance work of the department.
At the same time, the teaching staff of the department conducts reading conferences, literary evenings and meetings with the participation of writers and poets of the region, intellectuals, teachers, students and undergraduates.
On January 30, 2024, a republican webinar was held on the topic "Ways of transformation and commercialization of national and spiritual values".
The purpose of the webinar is to search for new formats for the promotion and development of national and spiritual values adapted to modern life, and to consider ways to increase their importance through commercialization.
The republican webinar discussed the relevance and viability of spiritual values, modern formats and ways of mastering spiritual values, and the effectiveness of commercialization of spiritual values.
A week of lectures for students of the Faculty of Philology within the framework of the project "Literature of the Alash period: the context of integrative folklore and a new scientific paradigm", in order to develop internal academic mobility, was conducted by Professor of the L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University, Doctor of Philology Zhumagul Sagymbai Botpayuly.
Turkey, the city of Erzurum, Associate Professor of Ataturk University, PhD Dr. Dyikanbai Meiramgul and the city of Ankara, Haji Vayram Veli University, PhD Dr. Nuriman Bekarys held a guest lecture for the faculty and students of the faculty.
As part of the month of Science, associate professor of the department, PhD Dr. Kushkimbayeva A.S. in 39 Kazakh secondary schools in accordance with the project "Eager to learn- school, eager to learn- country" held a training seminar on "National values in the work of "Ushkan uya" Bauyrzhan Momyshuly".
Methodological assistance for teachers of rural areas
Senior lecturer, master Ulykpanova Aliya Zholdaskalievna was a scientific and methodological speaker for teachers of the district.
