The department's graduates are the pride of the university.

Over the years, the Department of Russian Philology and Intercultural Communication has trained a large number of highly qualified specialists who have successfully established themselves in science, education, public administration, the media, and other fields.
The department is especially proud of its graduates who have dedicated their lives to research and teaching. Many of them have earned PhDs in philology and pedagogy, making significant contributions to the development of Russian science and education. It is noteworthy that the majority of the department's faculty are graduates of our university. Among them is E.A. Zhigareva. (First graduating class of 1970), Karashulakova M.Zh., Kuspaeva R.B., Terekova F.E., Belyaeva L.V., Sviridova I.I., Khalimullina N.R., Zhalgasbaeva Zh.S., Tasybaeva G.M., Rysmaganbetova G.D., Seitkalieva G.Kh., Artykova T.M., Utelbaeva G.U., Idrisova E.T., Islamgalieva V.Zh. All of them successfully defended their candidate dissertations and hold PhD degrees in philology and pedagogy.

Graduates of the Faculty of Philology, who have dedicated themselves to the development of education in the Aktobe region, are well-deservedly respected. Among them are N.M. Zhanpeisova, Doctor of Philology and Head of the International Laboratory with Distributed Participation "Internationalization of the Educational Space" at Aktobe Baishev University; M.N. Nurzhanova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor at Baishev University; and many others.

The department's graduates have achieved significant professional achievements in public administration and social work. Among them are A.T. Sheryazdanov, Deputy Head of the Department of Social Development of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan; S.M. Kaldygulova, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, veteran of civil service, and former deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan; R.S. Serikova, Chair of the Aktobe Regional Committee of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers; S.I. Ungarbayev, Major General of the National Security Committee and Head of the 2nd Department of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan; K.Kh. Sergazina, Head of the Aktobe City Center for Language Development; and A.K. Konakbayev, Head of the Regional Department for Language Development. Graduates working in the media deserve special attention. The department is proud of its alumni, who are shaping the modern information space of the Aktobe region and beyond. Among them are A. Nurkeeva, Editor-in-Chief of the Aktyubinsky Vestnik newspaper; S. A. Dovgaluk, Editor and Host of the RIKA TV channel; V. Polovinko, Editor of the Vremya newspaper (Riga); E. Ryshkina, Correspondent for the Aktobe Times newspaper; E. B. Yerzhanova, Correspondent for Channel 7; and others.

The professional reach of the department's graduates has long extended beyond Kazakhstan. A. V. Khokhlov, Candidate of Philological Sciences and Head of Department at the St. Petersburg Polytechnic University; L. V. Balakhonskaya, Candidate of Philological Sciences (St. Petersburg State University); and N. N. Borshcheva, Candidate of Philological Sciences (Borshcheva), are successfully working abroad. (Samara), Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences S.P. Teneryadnova (Bonch-Bruevich St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications), and Candidate of Philological Sciences I.G. Gorovaya (Orenburg State University). Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences L.A. Kashina continues her professional career in Australia.

The successes of the department's graduates are clear evidence of the high quality of specialist training, the continuity of scientific traditions, and the department's significant contribution to the development of education, science, and public life both in Kazakhstan and abroad.

Graduate Employment: A Confident Start in the Profession

The Department of Russian Philology and Intercultural Communication systematically promotes graduate employment. This activity is carried out in accordance with an approved action plan, which covers the main areas of interaction with final-year students and employers.

During the academic year, the department actively collaborates with district education departments and city employment services, sending inquiries about vacancies in relevant specialties. The information obtained helps graduates navigate the labor market and find opportunities for professional development.

It is significant that many students who completed their pre-graduation internships in rural schools and preschools decide to return to their hometowns as certified specialists. This demonstrates the high motivation of graduates and the demand for teaching staff in the region.

An analysis of employment rates over recent years confirms the effectiveness of the work being carried out. Graduates of educational programs 6B01702 - "Russian Language and Literature" and 6B01704 - "Russian Language and Literature in Schools with a Non-Russian Language of Instruction" have a 95-100% employment rate.
