At the Faculty of Philology, student life goes beyond academic learning and is shaped as an integrated environment focused on personal development, creative exploration, and social engagement. To foster students’ academic, creative, and leadership potential, various developmental clubs and factions operate systematically at the faculty.

Student Initiatives and Activities
Students of the faculty actively and regularly engage in the following areas:
- meetings with poets, writers, and representatives of the intellectual community;
- readers’ conferences;
- literary and musical evenings;
- intellectual competitions;
- poetry contests and aitys;
- “Club of the Funny and Inventive” games;
- charity initiatives;
- cultural and educational events organized in student dormitories;
- student self-governance weeks;
- activities of the Student Senate.
Student Achievements
In the 2024–2025 academic year, students of the Faculty of Philology achieved outstanding results in competitions at various levels:
- international – 13,
- national – 10,
- regional – 14,
- city – 9,
- university level — 35 students became winners.
Awards and Honors
Based on the results of the 2024–2025 academic year:
“Best Student of the Year” – Dauletshi Dilnaz, 4th-year student of the educational program 6B01701 “Kazakh Language and Literature”.
Recipients of the “Best Student” badge:
- Alpyssbayuly Bibolat – 4th-year student of EP 6B01701 “Kazakh Language and Literature”;
- Bisengaliyeva Inkar – 4th-year student of EP 6B01701 “Kazakh Language and Literature”.
According to the university’s annual report, the “Best Creative Club” title was awarded to the “Zhas Qalamger” organization.
Recipients of the “Zhubanov Excellence” title:
- Best Creative Student – Rakhmetolla Adilkhan, 3rd-year student of EP 6B02304 “Kazakh Philology”;
- Most Active Student of the Year – Zharmagambetov Mirlan, 2nd-year student of EP 6B02304 “Kazakh Philology”.
