The name of K. Zhubanov was assigned to Aktobe State University, one of the largest higher education institutions of the Western Kazakhstan and the whole country. In 1998 in honor of the 100th anniversary since the birth of this outstanding scientist the management of Aktobe University with assistance of regional administration erected a monument — a bust to Kudaybergen Kuanovich Zhubanov, thereby having immortalized the memory of this glorious son of Kazakhstan. The author of the monument is Zhadiger Kenbay. No doubt the monument to K.K. Zhubanov became an ornament not only of the higher education institution, but of the whole regional center as well. Streets of many cities are named after K. Zhubanov.
